Allan Stallions Fees Scheme Extended

Hailed as helpful move to help counteract high costs of selling in a very cautious market

In 2014 and 2015, the AllanStallions Scale of Fees as applied to ELUSIVE FORT was received very well by breeders taking advantage of a fixed scale of discounts for booking more than one service.  Some blocks of 5 or considerably more services were booked at big discounts while many breeders sent 2 or 3 mares with reductions in their costs.

Before ELUSIVE FORT grew into what he is now, he stood for R 10,000 + VAT under an AllanScale of Fees. There is a Scale for him at R 25,000 + VAT as well.

The scheme is now extended to no less than 5 stallions each standing for R 10,000 + VAT Live Foal.  And breeders can now “mix and match” amongst these 5.

Not only does the Scale of Fees apply to each R10k stallion but also breeders may select:  1 of each stallion at the figure for 5 services  2 of one and 1 of another total 3 at the figure for 3? Any combination.

In brief and in alphabetical order the stallions are: (click on the name of the stallion to see his stud card)

ALADO – fabulously bred percentage sire of good Vaal 2yo The Shredder and current Stakes filly Adorada – and the good ones sell well at their level

FENCING MASTER – Championship class juvenile sprinter – he comes with a Million Rand Bonus for his best three 2yos conceived in 2016

GITANO HERNANDO – watch his star rise now – superb looking horse with Silvano similarities – surprisingly successful early first crop 2yos

LATERAL – Maine Chance horse standing at Southford – Gr1 winning sire of a Gr1 winner and of regular trainers’ horses

WHERE’S THAT TIGER – incredibly exciting stats from his imports 83% then 60% w/r of which 67% are Stakes Winners

“It is not only in South Africa that there is a focus on a few especially popular stallions,” said David Allan, Stallion Manager and publisher of the AllanStallions Scales.  “The problem for breeders at the moment is that the buying market here is limited by recession and lack of outreach as well as fragmented by multiple sales so that some good sires of winners get more or less left out.  We are breeders ourselves and through including breeders in the Fencing Master bonus and in providing our Scale of Fees, we hope to be of help”.
