Cape Ready To Run Catalogue online
The catalogue for the 2014 CTS Ready To Run Sale is now available online. The two day sale will take place at Durbanville on October 4th and 5th, while the pre-sale gallops will be held at Durbanville on the 2nd of that same week.

This is the third running of the RTR Sale, with the sale first taking place in 2012. Notable graduates of the 2012 Sale include Red Ray and Captain America, two of the top performers of their generation.
Between them, Red Ray and Captain America won or placed in all of the Gr1 Grand Parade Cape Guineas, Gr1 Cape Flying Championship, Gr1 Investec Cape Derby, Gr1 Golden Horse Casino Sprint, and Gr1 SA Nursery and both look capable of winning at the highest level this season.

Another talented performer sold at the inaugural Ready To Run was the ill-fated Antonius Du Bois, winner of the Gr3 The Langerman, and Gr1 Investec Cape Derby third place getter Arion.

The 2014 Ready To Run catalogue contains juveniles by leading South African sires Captain Al, Dynasty, Fort Wood, Kahal, Silvano, Trippi, Var and Western Winter.

Leading first crop sires with strong drafts on offer include Lateral, Seventh Rock and Mambo In Seattle – the top three first crop sires of last season.

Exciting young stallions represented by their first 2yos include Bankable, Biarritz, Great Britain, Querari, Rock Of Rochelle, Visionaire, and Warm White Night.
