CTS Ready To Run catalogue now online

Cape Thoroughbred Sales recently announced the catalogue for their Ready To Run Sale, presented by Lanzerac Hotel & Spa.
This one day sale will take place at Durbanville racecourse on Friday 20th of November, with the pre-sale gallops scheduled to take place one day earlier.



The Cape Ready To Run Sale will be taking place for the fourth year in a row, and past graduates include such graded winners as Antonius Du Bois, Arion, Captain Chaos, Reim and most notably last season’s Equus Champion 2YO Seventh Plain.

Graduates of this sale will automatically qualify for entry to the 2016 Lanzerac Ready To Run Stakes, a contest which is worth R2.5 million this year.

Many of South Africa’s top stallions are represented at the sale with all of Captain Al (6), Dynasty (4), Fort Wood (1), Kahal (1), Silvano (2), Trippi (8), Var (6) and Western Winter (9) all represented at the Ready To Run Sale.

Top international sires with two-year-olds on sale include Bernardini (2), Hard Spun (2), High Chaparral (1), New Approach (1), Sebring (1), and Zoffany (1).
