Highlands Farm Dynasty, the sire of three sons named Horse Of The Year, is building an impressive record as a sire of high class fillies.
Dynasty’s daughters include such Equus Champions as Beach Beauty and Bela-Bela, while other notable stakes winning females by the former Horse Of The Year include G2 Ipi Tombe heroine Demanding Lady, Fillies Guineas winner Alexis, G1 Garden Province runner up Olma, and such stakes winners as Dancing Dynasty, Irish Myth, Saint Sophia, and Squashy Joy.
Dynasty looks to have come up with yet another high quality daughter in the form of the Justin Snaith trained Francia.
The latter, who races for long time Dynasty fans Jack and Nancy Mitchell, made it feature race win number two when beat smart male rivals to lift Saturday’s Listed Settlers Trophy at Durbanville.
Bred by Haras Del Carmo, the four-year-old Francia had previously tasted feature race success when she won last season’s Listed Winter Oaks.
A R200 000 buy from the 2014 Emperors Palace National Two Year Old Sale, Francia is one of 39 stakes winners for Dynasty, whose champion sons Futura and Legislate recently had their first mares test in foal.
