Flower Alley’s foals catch the eye

Wilgerbosdrift’s exciting young sire Flower Alley, the only sire to have produced a Kentucky Derby winner to come to stud in South Africa, has some eye catching first South African foals on the ground this season.
Flower Alley, who was booked full and covered an exceptional book of mares in his first local season at stud, is the sire of this Varsfontein Stud based colt, who was produced by former G3 Yellowwood Handicap runner up Quick Single.

Another strapping foal  by Flower Alley is Favour Stud’s stunning filly out of the G2 Tibouchina Stakes winner and proven producer Red Dor. Inbred to the great sire Lyphard, this lovely filly is a half sister to four winners including G3 Yellowwood Handicap runner up Lizzie Arden (by Right Approach) and G2 Betting World Derby third Red Fort (by Fort Wood).
