More success for Aim’s brother

Well bred young Cape sire Main Aim certainly is lacking nothing in the pedigree department.
He is a son of former champion sprinter Oasis Dream, whose 90 plus stakes winners include no fewer than 12 individual G1 winners.
From the powerful Danzig male line, Oasis Dream shares his sire Green Desert with the outstanding stallions Cape Cross (sire of outstanding young stallion Sea The Stars), Invincible Spirit (sire of leading sires I Am Invincible and Lawman) and Volksraad.

Oasis Dream is also a promising sire of sires, with his young sire sons including Maine Chance Farms’ exciting first crop sire Querari and Showcasing. The latter ended 2014 as the third Leading First Crop Sire in Britain with his first crop of 2yos including the pattern race winners Toocoolforschool (G2 Mill Reef S) and Cappella Sansevero (G3 Round Tower S).

Main Aim (also a three parts brother to Oasis Dream’s G3 Jersey Stakes winning daughter Rain Fall) is also from an outstanding female line. One of seven winners produced by the high class Selkirk mare Orford Ness (winner of the G3 Prix Sandringham), Main Aim is a full brother to Shingle, who recently picked up the second win of his career when successful in a 1200m at Wolverhampton last week.

A half brother to seven time G2 winner Weightless, winner of the 2003 G2 Prix Dollar and stakes winner sire Home Affairs, Main Aim stands at the Southford Stud.
