More success for Seattle
Ascot Stud’s Sail From Seattle has made a bright start to his stud career with his first runners this season.
The Gone West horse had another impressive winner at Turffontein on Tuesday evening, when Tommy Gun won the evening’s second race in the style of a horse with a future.

Tommy Gun is his sire’s second winner – following on from the now black type placed Navistar.

A blue blooded son of Gone West (sire of Western Winter), the stakes winning Sail From Seattle proved popular in the sales ring last year. His first crop included a R1 000 000 half-brother to Soft Falling Rain, who is said to be doing very well in training.

Sail From Seattle, closely related to the talented but ill-fated sire Strike Smartly, stands at Ascot Stud for a stud fee of R15,000.
