Moutonshoek’s cracking Two Year Old Sale Draft

Moutonshoek Stud will be offering 20 high quality two-year-olds at this week’s National Two Year Old Sale in Germiston.
The farm’s draft will include juveniles by such top class sires as Dynasty, Silvano and recently crowned champion sire Trippi as well as lots by their own promising and exciting resident sires Mambo In Seattle and Marchfield.

Former G1 Travers Stakes runner up Mambo In Seattle has made a superb start to his stud career, with his first crop producing multiple Grade One winner and millionaire Same Jurisdiction and his second the high class G1 colt Mambo Mime. As a son of outstanding sire Kingmambo and out of an own sister to dual US champion sire A P Indy, Mambo In Seattle appears to be living up to his illustrious bloodlines! Canadian Champion Marchfield, one of Canada’s leading first crop sires last year, was an outstanding racehorse and classic winner, who earned over $1 000 000. A son of outstanding sire A P Indy, whose sire sons include Bernardini, Judpot, Malibu Moon and Pulpit, he is from the family of former top class SA sires Home Guard and Peaceable Kingdom, among others. Former champion Silvano enjoyed another great season in 2015-2016, and was just beaten into second on the general sires list. Sire of 17 G1 winners in total, Silvano’s most recent top flight winners include the Equus Champion nominees Marinaresco and Silver Mountain. He has two in the draft:
