Oratorio daughter on track for Irish Classic
Avontuur’s world-class new stallion Oratorio is the sire of the Irish 1000 Guineas bound filly, Viztoria.

Viztoria, who is set to make her seasonal debut in the G3 Athasi Stakes on May 6th, was one of last season’s most promising juvenile fillies.
After winning her debut by seven and a half lengths, Viztoria then landed the Listed Blenheim Stakes, at the Curragh, by more than seven lengths.

She ended her 2yo campaign with a second place finish, behind more experienced colt Penny’s Picnic, in the G2 Criterium de Maisons-Laiffite.

Viztoria is one of 27 stakes winners sired by Oratorio, who is also responsible for Friday’s Listed East Cape Guineas winner Ottimo.

Oratorio will stand his first season in South Africa for a stud fee of R80,000.

The 2013 Irish 1000 Guineas is scheduled to be run at the Curragh on May 26th.
