Oratorio to the fore!

Oratorio to the fore!
Avontuur’s world-class new recruit, Oratorio, is poised to enjoy a tremendous spell, with his offspring set to contest some of the world’s finest races.
His unbeaten daughter, Orator’s Daughter, is a runner in the second leg of the Wilgerbosdrift Triple Tiara. She is one of 13 3yo fillies set to run in Saturday’s R1 000 000, SA Fillies Classic.

Another of Oratorio’s progeny, Moonwalk In Paris, is a leading contender for top honours in Saturday’s Gr2 Godolphin Mile, one of eight thoroughbred features on Dubai World Cup night.
Moonwalk In Paris, already a group winner in France, has been in great form in Dubai this season – he landed the Gr3 Firebreak Stakes impressively before finishing third in the Gr3 Burj Nahaar.

Yet another Oratorio son to hit the headlines, Military Attack, is one of Hong Kong’s leading performers. A three time stakes winner this season, Military Attack added to his win in the G1 Hong Kong Gold Cup with a gallant victory in the G3 Premier Plate.

Military Attack is likely to race next in one of the world’s great races – the G1 Queen Elizabeth II Cup – a race won previously by South African bred legends London News and Irridescence.

Oratorio, a champion on the track and at stud, will stand his first season for a stud fee of R80,000 – and these upcoming features could well make that fee look a great bargain!
