Riverton bred gelding salutes in Hong Kong
The Riverton Stud bred Potent Power, who now races under the name of Rocket Let Win, scored his first victory in Hong Kong on Wednesday afternoon.
Having finished third at his penultimate start, Rocket Let Win made no mistakes on Wednesday, landing a class 3 handicap over 1000m at Happy Valley.

The gelding showed plenty of heart to prevail in a thrilling finish, just nosing out the runner up Eastern Promise.

Potent Power, who was making his ninth start in Hong Kong, is now owned by Mr Daniel Lam Ka Kuen.

A 4yo son of the late National Emblem, Rocket Let Win (Potent Power) is out of the Captain Al mare, Solar Galleon.
Winner of the Gr1 Tsogo Sun Medallion at two, Potent Power is one of three Medallion winners raised recently at Riverton – along with Link Man and this year’s hero, Captain Of All.

He was a R200 000 buy at the 2011 Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.

Potent Power is another international winner for National Emblem, whose son Shea Shea captured the 2013 Gr1 Al Quoz Sprint.
Now deceased, National Emblem’s 31 stakes winners include ten Grade One winners including promising young sire Rebel King and fellow champion sprinter, Nhlavini.
