Seattle Storm wins for Sail
Ascot Stud’s very promising young stallion, Sail From Seattle, was represented by his third winner on Friday, when the promising Seattle Storm won at just the second time of asking.
Sail From Seattle, whose first crop are now two, is also the sire of the stakes placed Navistar and the very talented Tommy Gun.
A stakes winning son of Gone West (like champion Western Winter), Sail From Seattle is from the world famous No Class family.
This family has produced champions such as Dance Smartly, Sky Classic and Regal Classic, as well as leading sires Smart Strike and Strike Smartly.
Sail From Seattle is well represented on both the Cape Premier Yearling Sale (Book 2) and the Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.
His Cape yearlings include an own brother to Navistar, as well as a half-sister to nine winners, including stakes winner Noble Century.
The exciting young horse has no fewer than 17 yearlings on the National Sale, including a half-brother to G1 filly Fairy Queen, a half-sister to a French stakes winner, and a half-brother to Gr1 winner Silver Arc.
He stands at Ascot Stud for registered stud fee of R15,000.
