Smart trio for a “Golden Touch”

Smart trio for a “Golden Touch”
Gary and Jackie Joliffe, of Golden Touch Thoroughbred Services, are pleased to offer three well bred and attractive yearlings at the 2013 Cape Premier Yearling Sale (Book 2).

Lot 93 could be the star of the draft. This handsome Seventh Rock colt has already been named Guinness. By a sire whose progeny were in great demand at Book 1, this colt is a half-brother to the speedy November Rain, who is now a five time winner. Out of a Strike Smartly, the colt is from the family of stakes winner Scrutinize – who, like Guinness, is a Danzig line descendant.

Lot 108 is a colt named Grey Scout. By the very promising sire Greys Inn (sire of Royal Bencher and King of Pain), this colt’s dam is a sister to a five time winner. This is the great Party Time family, responsible for such star performers as Morisco, Sally Bowles and Trademark, to name a few.

Lot 258 is a filly by the tremendous filly sire Windrush. She has been named Legal Force, and is a half-sister to 2 winners. Her dam, by leading broodmare sire Centenary, is a half-sister to G1 winner Legality and G3 winner Precedent.

The yearlings will be stabled in blocks F and G, and the Joliffes will be delighted to show you their small, but select string of yearlings on sale at the 2013 Cape Sale.
