Three for Chestnut!

Three for Chestnut!
Drakenstein Stud’s resident sire Horse Chestnut was represented by the third winner from his first local crop on Monday. His stakes placed son, Zobens (bred by the Favour Stud), broke his maiden in tremendous fashion, when drawing clear to win by over four lengths.

Horse Chestnut’s offspring have enjoying a purple patch over the last few days. He has also been represented by recent winners Chestnut’s Rocket and Luv U Babes to take his first crop tally to three winners.

This is a promising start for a horse who himself only started showing his true form as a 3yo.

Horse Chestnut, who shares his sire Fort Wood with leading SA sire Dynasty, stood the past season for a stud fee of R15,000.
