Three in a row for Oratorio’s Breeders Cup bound daughter
Avontuur’s world leading sire Oratorio is the sire of one of North America’s most exciting juvenile fillies.
The Doug O’Neill trained Clenor scored her third consecutive win on Sunday, when landing the Surfer Girl Stakes at Santa Anita.
She duly obliged in the one mile turf event (as a hot favourite), winning by three parts of a length from Nesso (who received four pounds from Clenor).

Clenor, now unbeaten in three outings in North America, has already won two stakes races in her brief career. The filly had previously won the Oak Tree Juvenile Fillies Turf.

She is likely to run next in the $1 000 000 Breeders Cup Juvenile Fillies Turf – a race which will be run at Santa Anita on November 1st.

Fully booked for 2013, Oratorio stands for a fee of R80 000.
