Visionaire relative achieves TDN Rising Star status!

A close relative of Lammerskraal’s exciting new sire Visionaire was according “Rising Star Status” by esteemed industry publication –Thoroughbred Daily News (TDN).
Cursor (by the Gone West grandson Quality Road) had made a smart debut when second at Saratoga and went one better when impressively scoring over 1400m at Belmont Park yesterday.

The two-year-old filly, a $340 000 yearling buy, was sent off a prohibitive 3-5 favourite and she duly powered home to score by three lengths.

The well related Cursor is out of the winning Not For Love mare Scarlet Love –herself a half sister not only to G1 King’s Bishop Stakes hero and leading first crop sire Visionaire but to G1 Santa Margarita Stakes winning filly Tara’s Tango, and G3 Providencia Stakes vixen Scarlet Strike.

This is also the same family as the outstanding US galloper Bryan G.

Visionaire (himself by the Gone West sire Grand Slam) has a single lot on next weekend’s CTS Ready To Run Sale Presented by Lanzerac Hotel & Spa –

Lot 13 –this colt is a half brother to 7 winners, including G1 contender Patriotic Rebel, and he is out of a daughter of top class broodmare sire Qui Danzig (damsire of G1 winners Buy And Sell, Pierre Jourdan and Via Africa among others) and G1 Allan Robertson Fillies Championship heroine Rebellious
