Favour Stud farm is situated in the serene and majestic area of Stilbaai, spanning approximately 300 hectares in a tranquil and relaxing environment with beautiful views of the legendary “Sleeping Beauty” and the valley of Droë-Vlakte, in the Western Cape of South Africa.
Stud Highlights:
We are constantly improving and uplifting our thoroughbred broodmare band and endeavor to only have coverings with sires who meet the criteria of the 3 p’s: Performance, Pedigree, Presence.
Favour Stud was established in 2007, since then we have made exceptional progress and are grateful to be a registered thoroughbred horse breeding and training facility. We are registered with the National Horse Racing Authority. We are a member of the Thoroughbred Breeders Association, the Cape Breeders Club and the SA Racing Association.
Favour Stud does not only breed horses, but we also actively race our own horses to enjoy and experience the irresistible excitement and lifestyle filled with passion as racehorse owners.
Favour stud farm offers thoroughbred horse owners professional and passionate horse services which are performed under the professional care of our Stud Manager which includes: breeding, boarding, sales preparation, spelling, backing, direct stud sales, and a function venue.
Our paddocks are on natural lime stone and nutrient rich soil which is extensively regarded as one of the most fertile sources of lucerne (Alfa hay) in the country. With high quantities of deep-rooted naturally draining water the stud farm is perfect for the breeding and training of thoroughbred horses. Our pastures quality is excellent for young growing thoroughbred foals, broodmares and race horses.
