CLASSY FIRST BOOK FOR MARCHFIELD

CLASSY FIRST BOOK FOR MARCHFIELD
Moutonshoek’s exciting young sire, Marchfield, has been well received in his first season at stud in South Africa.

Already proving very fertile, Marchfield’s first book of mares includes some high-class racemares, proven broodmares and well related siblings, to boot.

Marchfield’s first book includes the dams of such high-class performers as Burmese Cat (Storm Bird Stakes), Next Spring (East Coast Hcp), Omaha Beach (Gr2 J&B Reserve Stayers Hcp twice), Sharp Design (Gr3 Tommy Hotspur Hcp), Star Finder (Syringa Hcp) and Thanks John (Durbanville Cup).

A P Indy’s champion son will also be covering such good racemares as Kitti Cat (Perfect Promise Sprint), Sharp Ledge (Gr3 Henry Eatwell Mem Hcp) and Slinky Malinky (Gr3 Diana Stakes), while also visiting him in 2013 are the siblings of Grade One winners Arabian Lass (Champion), Floatyourboat (Cape Derby), and Surveyor (SA Classic). Siblings to stakes winners Wheredowego and Texan Summer are also in his first local book.

A dual champion, and a classic winner at three, Marchfield is one of 150 stakes winners for his legendary sire A P Indy. The latter has sired numerous successful sire sons – including South African’s latest sire sensation, Judpot.

An exceptionally well bred individual, Marchfield’s introductory SA fee is R25 000.
