Elusive Fort joins Breeders Cup
Arc-en-Ciel Stud’s resident stallion, Elusive Fort, is the latest South African stallion nominated to the ranks of Breeders Cup stallions. This means his offspring born in 2013 will qualify for the world’s most important and prestigious series of races – the Breeders Cup.

Elusive Fort, whose first yearlings sell in 2013, won 7 races and over R2 000 000 in prize money, and was named Equus Champion Stayer in 2006. His wins included the G1 SA Derby, G1 Daily News 2000 and G1 Horse Chestnut, and he won five stakes races during his career.

A handsome, eye catching horse, Elusive Fort, who shares his sire, Fort Wood, with the sensational stallion Dynasty, is a half-brother to top-class juvenile Easyjadeeasy. This is the prolific “E” family which has been so successful in South Africa with the likes of Escoleta Fitz, Empress Club and Ecurie, to mention a few.

The champion is represented on both the Cape Premier Yearling Sale (Book 2) and on the Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale.

He stands for a stud fee of R5,000, and interested parties are asked to speak to David Allan of Allan Bloodlines.
