Fifth first crop winner for Ideal World

Fifth first crop winner for Ideal World
Mauritzfontein Stud’s superbly bred young sire Ideal World was represented by his fifth winner from his first crop of 2yos when daughter Peep Show won a maiden plate by nearly three lengths at the Vaal on Tuesday.

The filly, bred by Mauritzfontein, was sent out a hot favourite at 4-10 for the 1600m, following placed efforts on her two previous outings.

Produced by the winningFort Wood mare Topless Towers, Peep Show has a full sister on offer at the 2014 Suncoast KZN Yearling Sale.

Her sire Ideal World has made a bright start to his stud career and at the time of writing is South Africa’s fourth leading first crop sire.

To date Ideal World (by leading sire Kingmambo out of champion racemare Banks Hill) has been represented eight horses who have won or been placed, which include the brilliant debut winner Kingmambo’s Legacy.
