Battersea, a half-brother to The Alchemy’s well performed young stallion Gitano Hernando, scored his second win in a row when successful at Ascot on Saturday.

He is out of the very talented racemare Gino’s Spirits, whose nine career victories included four stakes wins including a score in the Gr3 Noble Damsel Handicap.

A daughter of Sadler’s Wells half-brother Perugino, Gino’s Spirits (also dam of Gitano Hernando) is out of a daughter of Mrs Mcardy – winner of the 1977 10000 Guineas.
