Maine Chance Farms’ outstanding sire Vercingetorix had another day to remember at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday.
Not only did Vercingetorix gelding Let It Be Said run out an impressive winner of the day’s fifth race, but Vercingetorix filly I’m So Pritti became her sire’s 48th stakes winner when she won Saturday’s Listed SABC Olympic Duel Stakes (1200m).
Trained, like Let It Be Said, by Justin Snaith, three-year-old I’m So Pritti made a mockery of her 25-1 starting price in Saturday’s Listed feature for fillies and mares.
Under Kabelo Matsunyane, the daughter of Vercingetorix swooped late to get up and win her biggest win to date by three-parts of a length.
Bred by Maine Chance Farms, I’m So Pritti has won three of eight starts.
Out of the Trippi mare, I’m So Pritti, winner of three of her last five starts, is a full-sister to Phedra, Horse Of The Year in the Eastern Cape in 2022-2023.
Her sire Vercingetorix is also responsible for recent G1 Cartier Paddock Stakes winner Double Grand Slam, who ran second in Saturday’s G1 Maine Chance Farms Majorca Stakes.
The champion son of Silvano pulled off yet another fine feat when his sons Let It Be Said, The Grey King, Lightning Glow and Rosh Kedesh finished 1-2-3-4 in Saturday’s Winx Class 3 (1400m).
Progressive three-year-old Let It Be Said caught the eye when romping home to score by a length and three quarters and he looks to be another bright hope for his sire.
Bred by Millstream Farm, the gelding is out of the Dalakhani mare Tawakul.
