Ideal World is the sire of unbeaten Cape 3yo Rainbow Bridge, who made it three wins from as many outings when landing Saturday’s G3 Highlands Stud Winter Classic, over 1800m at Kenilworth, by a length over Selangor Cup winner Rocket Countdown.
Bred by Wilgerbosdrift/Maurizfontein, the Eric Sands trained gelding had previously triumphed in the Winter Guineas by 1.25 lengths.

Another by Ideal World, My World, ran third in Friday’s Listed Glenlair Trophy beaten just over half a length by Desert Wisdom.
The blue blooded Ideal World, a son of outstanding sire Kingmambo and Breeders’ Cup winning champion Banks Hill, is also closely related to Saturday’s impressive Listed Netbet Android Download The App Tapster Stakes winner Mirage Dancer.
That 4yo son of Frankel romped home to a three length win in the Tapster Stakes for trainer Sir Michael Soute and owner-breeders Juddmonte Farms.
Mirage Dancer, who has now won or placed in five of seven outings, holds an entry in the G2 Hardwicke Stakes. He is out of G1 winner Heat Haze –a half-sister to Ideal World’s champion dam Banks Hill.
Ideal World has eight lots on the 2018 KZN Yearling Sale –a sale which has produced the Ideal World stars Hermoso Mundo and Inverroche.
