Rosedene Stud’s sire Greys Inn, who has spent time at Highlands Stud this season, was responsible for an eye catching debut winner at the Vaal on Thursday.

Greys Inn’s 3yo daughter Rajasthani Queen, who gave trainer Mike de Kock the second leg of a winning double, ran on powerfully to win first time out over 1000m.
In the process, the Rosedene Stud bred sophomore accounted for the very well bred first-timer, and favourite, Schippers, by a neck.
It was nearly two and a half lengths back to third place finisher Covered In Snow.
Rajasthani Queen, who was produced by the placed Jallad mare Defining Beauty, was a R425 000 buy from the 2016 Emperors Palace Select Yearling Sale.
Her Equus Champion sire Greys Inn, one of more than 40 G1 winners sired by Zabeel, is a well established sire, whose best offspring include dual Horse Of The Year and six time G1 winner Legal Eagle.
Greys Inn has a single lot on offer at next month’s CTS Ready To Run Sale –a filly whose three time winning dam is a half-sister to G3 Prix du Cap winner Bridal Lace (Lot131).
