Pomodoro

What makes Pomodoro’s start all the more impressive, is that his first mates included mares by such unfashionable stallions as Lake Coniston, Special Preview, Martinelli, Deep Sleep, and Fanatic Dane.

A brilliant winner of the 2012 Vodacom Durban July over Beach Beauty, Pierre Jourdan and Jackson, Pomodoro is a son of seven times champion sire Jet Master and Fillies Guineas winning Broodmare Of The Year Golden Apple.

Responsible for the top weanling sold off the 2018 Cape Mare Sale, Pomodoro had a colt make R300 000 at the 2018 Cape Premier Yearling Sale, with previous yearlings by the July winner making R650 000, R350 000 and R300 000 respectively.

His stud fee remains at R12 000 for 2018.

The 2018 Farm Sale will take place at Klawervlei on June 15th, when proceedings are scheduled to get underway at 17:00
