Klawervlei Stud’s multiple G1 winning stallion Captain Of All looks to have a promising sort to his name in the form of Fully Committed.
The latter made a striking start to her career when she made a winning debut at Turffontein on Thursday.
Trained by Sean Tarry, three-year-old Fully Committed turned Thursday’s 4Racing Welcomes You Maiden Plate (F and M) (1000m) into a one horse race.
Under Craig Zackey, Fully Committed hit the front 300m from home and powered away to beat her stablemate Panning Silver to win as she liked by three and a quarter lengths.
Bred by Klawervlei Stud, Thursday’s winner is out of the Go Deputy mare Tambalang.
Her sire Captain Of All is also the sire of classy sprinter Meu Capitano, who holds an entry in the upcoming G2 Khaya Stables Diadem Stakes.
Captain Of All has two fillies on offer at the Cape Yearling Sale, and five colts on offer at the Premier Yearling Sale.
