Robertson outfit Millstream Farm will be offering seven attractive prospects at next week’s National Two Year Old Sale.
The farm’s draft include two-year-olds by such successful stallions as Dynasty, Judpot and Pathfork as well as two by the very exciting and well performed Master Of My Fate.
Possible pick of the draft is Monarchy (Lot 401) a colt by four times Equus Outstanding Stallion Dynasty. This colt is a half-brother to five winners, notably Riverside Handicap hero Lochlorien and Kenilworth Cup winner and G1 SA Derby second Gothic. This is the same family as current high class performer Majestic Mambo –who ran fourth in the 2018 Vodacom Durban July.
Millstream’s first lot on sale is Just Judy (Lot 35) a filly from the first crop of Silvano sired Equus Champion Vercingetorix. This filly, a half-sister to 2 winners including G3 performer Alexander, is out of a Diesis half-sister to US G3 winner Roshani and is from the immediate family of Breeders’ Cup winning champion filly Caledonia Road.
Jet Master son Master Of My Fate was South Africa’s Leading First Crop Sire by Winners last season and the dual G2 winner is represented by two in this draft. His colt (Lot 59) out of three time winner So Impressed is out of a ¾ sister to Cape Guineas winner and champion sire Captain Al, while Master Of My Fate colt Jericho (Lot 37) is out of a half-sister to dual Merchants winner Search Party and hails from the same family as Equus Champion Dancer’s Daughter.
Former Equus Outstanding Stallion Judpot is responsible for a colt (Lot 186) whose five time winning dam is a half-sister to 2 stakes winners (the colt on offer being inbred to legendary sire Seattle Slew), while Irish Champion Pathfork, whose offspring include G1 winning 2yo Mighty High, is the sire of a filly (Lot 265) from the immediate family of G1 winning racemare and high class producer Badger’s Gift.
Rock Of Gibraltar sire Seventh Rock, both a G1 winner and a G1 sire, is the sire of a filly (Lot280) whose six time winning dam is out of a Fort Wood half-sister to Merchants winner Super Home.
