Maine Chance Farms’ dual G1 winning sire Erupt struck twice at the Vaal on Tuesday. His daughter Just Jazzed Up won the first race on Tuesday and another daughter, Sonic Jet,prevailed in race six.
The inform Erupt went close to having a treble on Tuesday, with his daughter Blizzard Snow finishing second in the penultimate race on the card.
Trained by Paul Matchett, three-year-old Just Jazzed Up, who defied a lengthy layoff, made a big impression when she won the 4Racing Welcomes You Maiden Plate (1000m).
Under Craig Zackey, the Erupt filly kicked on nicely in the closing stages to win by nearly three lengths.
Just Jazzed Up, making just her second start on Tuesday, is out of the Lundy’s Liability mare Juzztine.

Erupt’s second win on Tuesday came when his smart three-year-old daughter Sonic Jet ran out an impressive winner of Tuesday’s Book For Classic Day 1 March FM 96 Open Handicap (1450m).
The Corrie Lensley trained filly made it three wins from her last five starts when she made all to score by nearly two and a quarter lengths.
Bred by Lammerskraal Stud, Sonic Jet is out of the Jet Master mare Aquila Jet.
Her sire Erupt, a son of legendary stallion Dubawi, has ten lots on offer at the Premier Yearling Sale and a further five lots on offer at the National Yearling Sale.
