Maine Chance Farms’ inform stallion Querari had a notable treble over the weekend, with his daughter Luna Wish winning the Breeders Guineas Plate on Friday, and his Calvary and Enrapture both scoring on Sunday.
Querari’s three-year-old daughter Enrapture made it win number two, from just six starts, when scoring a courageous win over 1600m at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Sunday.
The Riethuiskraal Stud bred filly, who is trained by Yogas Govender, has won or placed in four of her six starts, with Enrapture having shed her maiden over 1400m.
Out of the Daylami mare Tale Of Love, Enrapture is now unbeaten on the polytrack.
Querari’s second success on Sunday came when his Glen Kotzen trained son Calvary romped to a clear cut win Sunday’s sixth race,a MR 98 handicap over 1000m.
Bred by Maine Chance Farms, the gelded Calvary has now four wins to his name.
South Africa’s Leading Sire of 2Yos in 2018-2019, Querari has had another good season this year, with his runners having already banked more than R5.3 million in stakes.
