Oratorio filly remains unbeaten
Orator’s Daughter, a filly by Avontuur’s exciting new sire Oratorio, took her record to three wins from as many starts when outclassing a useful field of fillies and mares at the Vaal on Thursday afternoon.

Bred in Australia, Orator’s Daughter was sold for R800 000 at the 2011Emperors Palace National Yearling Sale, when consigned by the Burwell Stud.
The flashy grey, trained by Alec Laird, is owned by Markus and Ingrid Jooste, and looks to have a very bright future ahead of her.

Orator’s Daughter, whose dam is by leading sire O’Reilly, is from the family of Hong Kong G1 winner, Sight Winner. She looks a filly destined for stakes races, and bigger features, and has already clearly stamped herself as valuable broodmare prospect when she retires to the paddocks.

Her triple G1 winning sire stands at Avontuur for a fee of R80,000 for the upcoming breeding season
