Second local winner for Seul Amour
First crop sire Seul Amour, whose first South African crop are now two, had the second winner from a small first crop of foals when Princess of Troy won a good race for the Justin Snaith stable on Friday.
Seul Amour has now had two winners from his first five runners – a promising start for a son of the great staying sire Zabeel. His other runners include the very promising colt Heart of a Lion, who has won three in a row and is a runner in the Gr1 Premier’s Champion Stakes on Saturday.
Seul Amour, who has 6 lots on sale at the 2013 Emperors Palace National 2yo Sale next month, has claims to being one of the best bred stallions in South Africa.
A six time stakes winner, Seul Amour is one of over 140 black type winners sired by champion sire Zabeel. He is out of the multiple G1 winning, and Australian champion, Grand Archway.
He stands at the Vanree Stud.
