Klawervlei Stud’s successful sire, and increasingly successful broodmare sire, Count Dubois,looks set to be represented as a broodmare sire in Saturday’s G1 Heineken 3 Metropolitan (over 2400m) at Randwick.}

Classy four-year-old Scarlet Dream, a daughter of Sebring and the Count Dubois mare Asylum Seeker, is set to jump from barrier two in Saturday’s $750 000 feature.
The Mark Newnham trained filly will be ridden by Robbie Dolan in The Metropolitan.
Scarlet Dream, who also holds entries in both the G1 Melbourne and Caulfield Cups, has won or placed in seven of only ten starts (she was second in last season’s G1 Heineken 3 Australian Oaks) and last time out finished seventh in the G3 The Agency Real Estate Kingston Town Stakes when finishing just under four lengths off the victorious Finche.
She is out of former Equus Champion and G1 Golden Slipper winner Asylum Seeker, whose Gran Criterium winning sire Count Dubois stands at Klawervlei Stud.
