Moutonshoek’s inform stallion The United States looks to have come up with a top-class son in the form of Tin Pan Alley.
The latter, winner of the G2 Betway Joburg Spring Challenge last time out, made it back to back graded stakes wins when he won the G3 Betway Graham Beck Stakes at Turffontein on Saturday.

Under Gavin Lerena, the Sean Tarry trained Tin Pan Alley overcame a wide draw, and top weight, to land Saturday’s R400 000 contest by just over half a length.

Bred by Moutonshoek, Tin Pan Alley races for the Wernars family and Dayalan Chinsammy.

The gelded three-year-old was a R500 000 buy from the 2024 August Two Year Old Sale.
Tin Pan Alley, who finished runner up in last season’s G1 World Pool Moment Of The Day Premiers Champion Stakes, has won four of eight starts and he has earned R1 125 468 in stakes.

His G1 Ranvet Stakes winning sire The United States is also the sire of Rodeo Drive, who finished a gallant third in Saturday’s G2 Allied Steelrode-Onamission Charity Mile, while The United States’ classy son Kingdundee made it three wins in a row when scoring at Fairview on Friday.
