Ascot Stud’s well performed stallion Global View enjoyed feature race success at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Saturday.
His Glen Kotzen trained daughter Disting downed some speedy fillies and mares when she won Saturday’s Listed Laisserfaire Stakes (1100m) convincingly.
Under the inform Craig Zackey, Disting unleashed a fine turn of foot which saw the filly get up close home and score by a long neck.

Bred by Blue Sky Thoroughbreds, four-year-old Disting has won two of 14 starts.
The filly, who is out of the Var mare Our Destiny, races for Viv Burgess. Disting, who is closely inbred to Storm Cat, was a R140 000 buy from the 2023 KZN Yearling Sale.

Her dual graded stakes winning sire Global View had also enjoyed success at Fairview one day earlier, when his son Ravilious won the eighth and final race.
Winner of three of his last five starts, Ravilious was bred by the Late David Allan.

Global View’s champion son, and multiple G1 winner, Dave The King was also in action on Friday, with the former Horse Of The Year finishing fourth over 1200m at Hollywoodbets Greyville.
