Sandown Stud’s high-class sire Pathfork came up with a smart looking debut winner on Sunday.
His two-year-old daughter Ushouldbedancing made the perfect start to her career when making a winning debut at Turffontein.
Under Kyle Strydom, the Robyn Klaasen trained filly defied considerable greeness to stay on and win Sunday’s Warren Baillie, Keith Basel, Michael Coetzee, Bennie De Wet Juvenile Plate (Fillies) (1000m) by a head.
Bred by Sandown Stud, Ushouldbedancing races for Messrs J T Mushwana & Joshua Peter.
Sunday’s winner, who is out of the Joshua Dancer mare Danseuse, was a R220 000 buy from the 2025 KZN Yearling Sale.
Ushouldbedancing shares her G1 winning sire with a slew of high-class fillies and mares including G1 Allan Robertson Championship winner Mighty High, this season’s G1 Betway Summer Cup runner up Olivia’s Way, and graded stakes winners My Friend Lee and Jet Start.
Pathfork has a single lot on offer at this week’s National Yearling Sale.
