Moutonshoek’s red hot sire The United States has enjoyed his finest season to date this year, and his top-class son Tin Pan Alley dominated proceedings at Saturday’s night Highveld Feature Season Awards ceremony.
The Sean Tarry trained gelding claimed three awards on Saturday -Horse Of The Season, Champion Miler and Champion 3YO Colt.

Tin Pan Alley, who was bred by Moutonshoek, has won six of 13 starts, with the gelding having already earned in excess of R2.277 million.
His victories this season including the G1 Wilgerbosdrift HF Oppenheimer Horse Chestnut, G2 Betway Joburg Spring Challenge and G3 Betway Graham Beck Stakes.

At his most recent start, Tin Pan Alley finished a close second in the G2 World Sports Betting Guineas.

Owned by the Wernars Family and Dayalan Chinsammy, Tin Pan Alley was a R500 000 buy from the 2024 August Two Year Old Sale.

His G1 Ranvet Stakes winning sire The United States has been responsible for six stakes winners this season thus far -more than the likes of Gimmethegreenlight, Rafeef and One World.
