Klawervlei Stud’s triple G1 winning sire Captain Of All to have an above average filly on his hands in the form of Kiss Me Captain.
The latter made it two wins from two starts when scoring a convincing win at Turffontein on Thursday and she looks a bright prospect indeed.
Despite racing keen early in Thursday’s Play Soccer 6,10 and 13 FM 84 Handicap (F&M) (1200m), Kiss Me Captain powered away to score impressively by over two and three-quarter lengths under Diego De Gouveia.
Trained by Michael and Adam Azzie, three-year-old Kiss Me Captain had won her only previous start when scoring over 1160m at Turffontein back in July.
Kiss Me Captain shares her Riverton Stud bred sire Captain Of All (whose sire Captain Al is also responsible for recently crowned South African Horse Of The Year Captain’s Ransom) with a host of top-class horses, including dual G1 winner Linebacker and multiple graded stakes winner Shango.
South Africa’s Leading First Season Sire of 2018-2019, Captain Of All has five lots on offer at this week’s August Two Year Old Sale.
