Trained, like Legislate, by Justin Snaith, In A Timely Manner ran on strongly under Richard Fourie to land the Hollywoodbets Kenilworth Welcomes You Maiden Juvenile Plate (1200m) a shade cosily by a length.

Bred by Maine Chance Farms, the colt was a R550 000 purchase from the 2024 Cape Premier Yearling Sale.

Closely related to Legislate’s smart son Legal Counsel, In A Timely Manner is out of the Silvano mare Inaninstant.

South Africa’s Horse Of The Year in 2013-2014, the four time G1 winner Legislate is also responsible for recent G3 Tote Godolphin Barb Stakes runner up Good For You (who holds an entry for the G1 Gold Medallion), as well as this season’s smart three-year-old Regulation.
