Ridgemont’s star stallion Rafeef continues to come up with good looking winners and the son of Redoute’s Choice struck again at Turffontein on Saturday.
Rafeef’s three-year-old daughter Drumnadrochit made the perfect start to her career when she made a winning debut over 1600m.

Under Richard Fourie, the Mike and Mathew De Kock trained filly stayed on nicely to win at the first time of asking by just over three-parts of a length.
It was four lengths back to third placed finisher Kensal Green.

Bred by Ridgemont Highlands (who owned the filly in partnership with Devin Heffer), Drumnadrochit  is out of the Dynasty mare Kelpie.

She is but one of several exciting three-year-olds for Rafeef this season, with others including G2 TAB SA Nursery runner up Esteemed, Listed Wilgerbosdrift Ruffian Stakes winner Glastonbury, African Pride, All The Rage, and debut winner Reet Petite.

Currently sixth on the South African General Sires list, Rafeef has eight lots on offer at the Two Year Old Sale.
