Four times Equus Outstanding Stallion Dynasty could be represented at one of the world’s biggest race meetings this year.
His son Nassa holds entries in both the HK $28 000 000 G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Cup and the same day’s LONGINES Hong Kong Mile, while Dynasty’s Equus Champion Just Sensual has been entered for both the LONGINES Mile and Hong Kong Sprint.
The six-year-old Nassa, who was bred by Wilgerbosdrift, has already banked more than HK$2 million since arriving in Hong Kong, with his biggest score, to date, coming in the G3 SA SA Ladies Purse of 2017, where he beat subsequent G1 LONGINES Hong Kong Cup winner Time Warp by a head.
An R800 000 buy from the 2014 National Sale, Nassa won twice in South Africa and ran third in the 2015 G1 Cape Guineas before he was exported to Hong Kong.
His paternal half-sister Just Sensual –Equus Champion 3YO Filly of 2016-2017, has not been out since finishing downfield in the 2018 G1 Klawervlei Majorca Stakes. The Hong Kong International meeting is due to take place at Sha Tin on December 9th.
Dynasty, whose 60 stakes winners include eight Equus Champions, is also the sire of Front And Centre, who is the 19-10 favourite for Saturday’s G2 Western Cape Fillies Championship.
The former July winner and Horse Of The Year has one lot on sale at the 2018 Emperors Palace Ready To Run Sale –a filly (Lot 21) from the family of G1 winning siblings Ectot and Most Improved.
