Erupt relative lands Coolmore Stud Stakes

2nd November 2021

Maine Chance Farms’ dual G1 winning sire Erupt gained yet another update to his stellar female line when his exciting relative Home Affairs scored a facile win in Saturday’s G1 Coolmore Stud Stakes (1200m) at Flemington.

A three-year-old colt by I Am Invincible, Home Affairs sat prominently in the run and then exploded inside the final 200 metres to record a big win in the AUS$1.5 million contest.

Under James MacDonald, the Chris Waller trained colt powered home to land his first G1 win by three lengths.
Home Affairs has now won three of just seven starts, and has already amassed earnings of more than AUS$1.6 million.
Out of the Flying Spur mare Miss Interiors, Home Affairs’s fifth dam is Fanfreluche -with the latter also featuring as the fourth dam of exciting young Cape sire Erupt.

The now hugely valuable Home Affairs is inbred to legendary racemare and producer Fanfreluche, with the latter also third dam of champion Australian sire Flying Spur, the broodmare sire of Home Affairs.

Winner of both the G1 Juddmonte Grand Prix de Paris and G1 Pattison Canadian International, Erupt is set to be represented by his first runners this season.
