Varsfontein Stud’s red hot resident sire Master Of My Fate has been firing on all cylinders in recent weeks, and the son of Jet Master made the perfect start to the current week when coming up with five winners in the first three days of the week.
Master Of My Fate’s winning streak saw him supply two winners at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Monday, before daughter Coffeeberry won at the Vaal Classic track on Tuesday and son Dammi triumphed at Fairview on the same day.
The inform stallion then came up with another impressive winner at Hollywoodbets Kenilworth on Wednesday afternoon when his promising son Innamorare produced a fine turn of foot to win the fourth race on the Kenilworth card.
One of three winners on the card for Justin Snaith, Innamorare defied 61kgs to win Wednesday’s Follow Cape Racing On Social Media MR 74 Handicap (1600m) in fine style. Under an inform Richard Fourie, the Master Of My Fate colt got up in the shadow of the post to score by a neck, while conceding chunks of weight to both the runner up and third home.
Bred by Maine Chance Farms, three-year-old Innamorare has now won three of his six starts and is yet to finish out of the top two.
Out of the Silvano mare Inaninstant, Innamorare was a R220 000 buy from the 2021 National Yearling Sale.
Innamorare is one of several highly promising three-year-olds representing his sire this season, with others including Beach Beauty Mile winner Broadway Girl.
His sire Master Of My Fate, whose flagbearers last season include such graded stakes winners as Gem King and Zapatillas, is currently fourth on the general sires list, with his progeny having already earned more than R3.91 million this season.
From the immediate family of popular and well performed young sires Erik The Red and Malmoos, Master Of My Fate has ten lots on offer at this month’s November Two Year Old Sale.
