Lammerskraal Stud’s G1 winning stallion Visionaire struck twice at Hollywoodbets Greyville on Thursday night, with his champion son Good Traveller picking up the seventh race on the card, and Visionaire filly Venturous victorious in Greyville’s third race on Thursday.

Last season’s Equus Champion 2YO Colt, three-year-old Good Traveller made it win number five when downing a high-class field to win Thursday’s Winning Form Pinnacle Stakes (1200m).
Under an inform Donovan Dillon, the Glen Kotzen trained gelding hit the front 150m from home before fighting off a challenge from Isivunguvungu to score by nearly three-parts of a length.

Among those beaten by Good Traveller on Thursday was fellow G1 winning champion Tempting Fate and G1 Mercury Sprint winner Pearl Of Asia.

Bred by Lammerskraal Stud, Good Traveller won four of six starts at two including both the G1 Premiers Champion Stakes and G3 Godolphin Barb Stakes.

The gelding is out of the Western Winter mare Skylar Lane.

Good Traveller was one of two winners for his sire on the day, with the Visionaire daughter Venturous breaking her maiden when landing Thursday’s third race.
Trained by Carl Hewitson, three-year-old Venturous was another bred by Lammerskraal Stud.
