Cheveley Stud’s homebred sire, and former Horse Of The Year, Legislate looks to have come up with another well above average performer in the form of Bureau des Legende.
The latter made it three wins in a row when scoring a convincing win at Turffontein on Thursday afternoon.

Bred and owned by Drakenstein Stud, Bureau des Legende was dispatched tote favourite for Thursday’s Highveld Racing.co.za MR 94 Handicap (3-year-olds) (1600m) following a fluent win over 1600m last time out.
Under S’Manga Khumalo, the Mike de Kock trained filly powered home to score by over a length and a quarter, while taking her tally of wins to three from just six starts.
Bred and owned by Drakenstein Stud, Bureau des Legende is yet to finish out of the first four, is out of the Western Winter mare Arabian Winter.
