Ridgemont’s beautifully bred young stallion Real Gone Kid came up with his ninth first crop winner on Friday.
Real Gone Kid filly Remind Me Of You got off the mark in gutsy fashion when she won the #Youcanbetonus! Maiden Plate (F and M) (1000m) on Friday.

Under Richard Fourie, the Alan Greeff trained two-year-old raced up with the pace early on in Friday’s contest.
Remind Me Of You hit the front someway from home and she kept going gamely to win by a neck.

Owned by Hollywood Racing, Remind Me Of You was making her third start on Friday, with the Real Gone Kid filly having finished fourth and second in her two previous starts.

Bred by Ridgemont Highlands, Friday’s winner is out of the Kabool mare Strong Scent.

Her promising young sire Real Gone Kid is a son of the late, great Snitzel, with the Snitzel set to be crowned Australia’s Champion Sire for 2025-2026. It will be a fifth General Champion Sires title for the brilliant Snitzel.
