Oratorio star strikes in Seoul

5th June 2019

Avontuur Thoroughbred Farm’s in-form sire Oratorio made international headlines recently when his daughter Silver Wolf won Sunday’s Ttukseom Cup at Seoul for the 2nd time in 3 years.

The Australian bred Silver Wolf has now won 15 of 31 starts and has earned approximately $3 000 000.

The Oratorio daughter was produced by the More Than Ready mare Ready For More.

Silver Wolf’s win continued the good run of form enjoyed by Oratorio of late. Also responsible for this season’s South African graded stakes winners Divine Odessey, Mardi Gras and Van Halen, Oratorio made local news last week when his talented three-year-old daughter Carlita captured the Listed Milkwood Stakes at Fairview.

A triple G1 winning son of Danehill from the family of champion sire Alydar, Oratorio is responsible for nearly 100 stakes horses and his progeny have earned in excess of $64 000 000.

He has two lots on offer at the 2019 KZN Yearling Sale.
