Ridgemont’s red hot sire Rafeef came up with two eye catching winners at Turffontein on Saturday.
The G1 Computaform Sprint winner struck first when his son Rafe’s Oracle won the third race at Turffontein.

Trained by Robbie Sage, lightly raced Rafe’s Oracle was given a fine, front running ride by Gavin Lerena in the Infinite Credit Maiden Plate (1450m).
The Rafeef sired three-year-old, who was making just his third start, kept galloping strongly in the closing stages to record a one and a quarter length win.

Bred by Hallmark Thoroughbreds, Rafe’s Oracle is owned by Colin Bird.
Saturday’s winner, who is out of the Silvano sired G2 Track And Ball Oaks winner Keep On Dancing, was a R550 000 buy from the 2025 National Yearling Sale.

Rafeef also looks to have a very smart daughter on his hands in the form of Drumnadrochit.
The latter turned Saturday’s Rowlin National Pinnacle Stakes (1800m) into a one-horse race, with the Callan Murray partnered four-year-old romping home to win by no less than 11.25 lengths!
One of three winners on the card for Mike and Mathew De Kock, the Ridgemont Highlands bred Drumnadrochit races for her breeders and Devin Heffer.

Four-year-old Drumnadrochit, who is out of the Dynasty mare Kelpie, won two of her first three starts and has won three of eight outings with the Rafeef filly having also finished third in last season’s Listed KRA Cup Off To Stud Stakes.

Rafeef went close to having a treble at Turffontein on Saturday with his son Dawson’s Anvil beaten just a neck when second in the second race on the card.
