Lammerskraal Stud’s G1 winning stallion Visionaire had a notable day on Boxing Day, when the King’s Bishop Stakes winning son of Grand Slam supplied a pair of winners at Hollywoodbets Greyville.

Both winners were trained by Michael Roberts and both Visionaire runners were ridden to victory by Rachel Venniker.

Visionaire’s first success on Sunday came when his three-year-old son Chara Sands shed his maiden when victorious in the first race.
A full-brother to the useful Nikiya, Chara Sands built on two good previous runs when storming home to land Sunday’s Compliments Of The Season Maiden Plate (1000m) by an emphatic three lengths.
Bred by Verna Roberts, Chara Sands is out of the Joshua Dancer mare Baronova.

Roberts and Venniker also teamed up to win Sunday’s third race, the Call Telebet Track And Ball Fixed Odds On 031 314 1155 MR 94 Handicap, with Visionaire’s gelded son Ad Altisima.
Bred by Mr Kalil, the five-year-old claimed the fifth win of his career with a more than length and a quarter success in Sunday’s 1200m sprint.
