Klawervlei Stud’s triple G1 winning sire Captain Of All is enjoying a good season in 2022-2023 thus far, and the former Equus Champion struck yet again when his classy daughter Kiss Me Captain won the Listed Swallow Stakes at Turffontein on Sunday.
A convincing winner of her first three starts, the Michael and Adam Azzie trained Kiss Me Captain showed her class with a smashing win in Sunday’s 1160m sprint for three-year-old fillies.
Under Diego De Gouveia, Kiss Me Captain stormed into the lead 200m from and romped away to down G2 4Racing SA Fillies Nursery winner Maharanee by an impressive two and a quarter lengths.
Among her beaten rivals on Sunday were G1 winner Sweet Pepper, the promising Flowerbomb, and graded stakes winners Miss Dasy and Galla Vanting.
Bred by the late Kevin Soal, Kiss Me Captain has now won four of just six starts.
She is one of several smart three-year-olds representing Captain Of All this season, with others include Need For Speed Sprint winner Trompie as well as the likes of Captain Bombshell and Captain Casey.
South Africa’s Leading First Season Sire of 2018-2019, Captain Of All is set to be represented by his multiple G1 winning son Linebacker in Saturday’s G1 World Sports Betting Cape Town Met.
