Varsfontein Stud’s increasingly successful sire Master Of My Fate looks to have yet another talented son on his hands in the form of After The Rain.

The latter made it three wins in a row when making much of the running to win at Hollywoodbets Scottsville on Sunday.

A lightly raced four-year-old colt, the grey After The Rain was always prominent in Sunday’s Gold Circle Racing Youtube Channel MR 86 Handicap (1200m).
When Anton Marcus asked the question, the Gareth Van Zyl trained colt pulled away smartly to win by nearly two and a half lengths.
Bred by Limestone Thoroughbred Trust, After The Rain has now won three of just six starts, with the colt yet to finish out of the first three.
South Africa’s second Leading Sire by stakes of 2020-2021, Master Of My Fate made a fine start to the current season when his unbeaten son Zapatillas won the Listed #womeinracing Sophomore Sprint recently.
